With the onset of winter, Russian propaganda begins to recall "General Frost" and shout about Europe and Ukraine, which are freezing and suffering without Russian gas, and the only salvation for them is "Mother Russia." But this time, something went wrong with the Kremlin's methodology, and "General Frost" knocked on the doors of residents of the Moscow region.
In 20-degree temperatures, entire cities nationwide were left without electricity and heating. According to the Russian Constitution, gas and oil are the people's property. Still, with the light hand of Vladimir Putin and his team, which has been heading Gazprom and oil companies for more than 20 years, the profits from gas and oil dollars go into the pockets of not just ordinary Russians but to finance the war against Ukraine, terrorist attacks on civilian Ukrainian targets, blackmail, and bribery.
With the beginning of a full-scale war against Ukraine in 2022, Russia's monopoly on the European gas market ended, and gas blackmail and threats, a favorite tool of Russian diplomacy, now only works on the followers of former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's telegram channel.
It isn't very comfortable for the permanent president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, to hear that Russia has been called and continues to be called a gas station country, but recent events show that this global gas station cannot heat its people. So it is time for Gazprom to shoot a new video and for RT to broadcast residents of the Moscow region who have already started lighting fires in the yards of their high-rise buildings with the words "We are freezing! Pay attention to us!"
