The Lebanese Federation of "Hapkido" sports held throughout Sunday 12/4/2022 the Lebanese General Championship, in the Radwan Association building in Aley.

The ceremony was attended by the representative of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. George Kallas, lawyer Ibrahim Choueiri, His Excellency the Korean Ambassador to Lebanon, IL Park, the representative of the Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, Colonel Muhammad Fasaei, the representative of the Director General of the State Security Apparatus, Major General Tony Saliba, Colonel Fadi Al-Kubbi, and the Consul of the Korean Embassy, Mrs. Chulong Kim. Vice President of the Olympic Committee, Grand Master Sami kiblawi, President of Kickboxing sports Grand Master Abdel Rahman Al Rayess , and Secretary General Mr. Jawdat Fathallah, President of the Lebanese Climbing Federation Mr. Khodr Al Ghadban, President of the Vovinam Federation Mr. Bahaa Zughair, President of the Lebanese Federation of Physical Culture Dr. Asaad Ghannam, Engineer Youssif Al Mohtar , Engineer Nidal Jamal , Engineer Abbas Ezz Eldine , captain pilot Majed Assaf and the sports official at MUBS University, Dr. Fadi Fayyad, was also attended by the lawyer Sheikh Khaled Al-Imad, in addition to some Lebanese media outlets and a number of school and association directors, in addition to the presence of a team of Lebanese Red Cross paramedics, a team of Lebanese scouts and a crowd From the parents and players, a team from Café Noel Roastery also provided hospitality to the audience.
The celebration began with the Lebanese and Korean anthems, then the President of the Lebanese Federation and the Arab Countries for Hapkido Sports, Grand Master Dr. Hassan Al-Ghadhban delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendees, representatives of the official bodies, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. He also thanked the Korean ambassador for his presence as a personal friend, and thanked the parents, clubs and students Participants, referees and judges from all clubs.
Al-Ghadban said: We do not want to encourage violence, but we want a sport that deepens peace, gives self-confidence, and gives students the ability to defend themselves. Relaxation and breathing, and the ability to bear disappointments from near and far, in addition to confronting selfishness that is ravaging all levels, and psyches.
Al-Ghadban concluded by stressing the need to encourage exercise, to increase personal and social immunity, especially in light of the difficult circumstances the world is going through, as it has not yet recovered from the Covid-19 epidemic, not to mention the rest of the social and intellectual epidemics.
After that, the matches began between the participating athletes, according to the laws of the game, in which more than /200/ two hundred male and female players of different ages and weights, representing the following clubs, participated: Martial Arts, Kangaroo, Aitat Sports Club, Tiger Bekaa Club, Fitness Empire, Shabiba Sporting, Golden Champs, Lebanese Tigers, Stars, Black Belt Academy, and in conclusion, medals and certificates were distributed to the winning champions.
